resting on a dandelion

just walking through grandparents garden when a colourfull butterly was landing on different flowers :)
tried to make it out of first one, but he flew away. luckily he wasn't done with the dandelions and i managed to focus on him :D

*if you have sugestions on how to improve the photo/edit it pls share them ;P

hey zo - tks for dropping by to have a look at my shot of the "butterfly" which is a lot easier since it's static :)

it's not easy to shot insects especially skittish ones like butterflies

suggestions: maybe if you try to approach them from the back very very slowly then you can get a shot of the butterfly with it's wings spread out wide and fill the frame of the shot with that spread...noticed you used 28mm maybe if you zoom in more it might help too :)

my camera has lens with 7-28mm which is 34-136mm eqiv for35mm camers , so this means i used a 136mm for that shot :O
the butterfly is spreading its wings only when he feels like :P so i waited for him to open them, that is another problem with these insects

@Catalina: eh .. posibil. am dat de un damb in mouse pad cand ma jucam cu levels si a fugit mai mult :)
